Workforce Development

If Gaston County is to become the "preferred" community for employers it must have a nationally certified workforce and become a national model for workforce development through collaboration.

The Gaston Regional Chamber's major objectives for Workforce Development are to determine the labor force requirements of Gaston County employers and potential employers; ensure the long-term sustainability of Gaston Career Climb and montior that the program is helping to improve productivity and streamlining the hiring process; and improving the quality of entry-level employees in business and industry.
